As the Department Manager for Apparel at Reliance retail Ltd, you will be responsible for overseeing the apparel departments daily operations, driving sales, and ensuring exceptional customer service. You will lead a team of associates, manage inventory, and create an engaging shopping experience that meets customer needs and enhances brand loyalty.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership:
Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of apparel associates.
Set performance goals and conduct regular evaluations to provide constructive feedback.
Foster a positive team environment that encourages collaboration and communication.
Sales & Customer Engagement:
Drive sales performance by implementing effective merchandising and promotional strategies.
Monitor sales metrics and analyze customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement.
Ensure associates provide outstanding customer service and address inquiries and concerns promptly.
Inventory Management:
Oversee inventory levels, including stock replenishment, visual merchandising, and loss prevention.
Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and minimize shrinkage.
Collaborate with purchasing and supply chain teams to manage product assortments effectively.
Merchandising:
Maintain a visually appealing and organized apparel department in line with company standards.
Implement seasonal and promotional displays to maximize sales opportunities.
Stay updated on fashion trends and customer preferences to curate product offerings.
Operational Excellence:
Ensure compliance with store policies, procedures, and safety standards.
Assist in budgeting and financial management for the apparel department.
Report on department performance, including sales, inventory turnover, and customer satisfaction.
