Retail Store Manager at New Grown Diamond in Bengaluru, Karnataka

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Store Manager to lead our diamond jewelry showroom at Mantri Mall, Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in luxury jewelry sales, a deep understanding of diamonds, and proven leadership skills. This role requires excellent customer service, operational efficiency, and a passion for jewelry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sales and Customer Service:
• Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a personalized and luxurious shopping experience.
• Lead sales efforts by understanding client needs, demonstrating jewelry knowledge, and fostering long-term client relationships.
• Drive sales targets, provide guidance on cross-selling, and manage customer queries.
• Staff Management:
• Recruit, train, and mentor showroom staff to ensure high performance and exceptional customer service.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
• Schedule shifts, monitor attendance, and ensure adequate staff coverage.
• Inventory and Merchandising:
• Oversee stock management, including daily counts and monthly inventory checks.
• Ensure displays and showcases are organized and visually appealing, aligned with brand standards.
• Coordinate with the merchandising team to maintain updated inventory and reorder stock as needed.
• Store Operations and Security:
• Ensure smooth day-to-day operations, from opening to closing procedures.
• Maintain security protocols to protect inventory and ensure a safe shopping environment.
• Manage store budgets, expenses, and operational costs.
• Customer Relationship Management (CRM):
• Develop and maintain a strong customer database to encourage repeat business.
• Implement loyalty programs and promotions to enhance customer engagement.
• Handle high-value clients with discretion, maintaining the brand’s prestige.
• Reporting and Analysis:
• Prepare sales and inventory reports to present to senior management.
• Analyze sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Suggest strategies to enhance sales, customer experience, and operational efficiency.

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum 10 years in the diamond jewelry industry, with at least 5 years in a management role.
• Knowledge: Deep knowledge of diamonds, gemstones, and fine jewelry.
• Skills: Strong leadership, excellent communication, sales-driven, and proficient in CRM software.
• Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Retail Management, or a related field is preferred.
