Job Summary

As a Home Buyer at Jaypore, you will play a pivotal role in sourcing, selecting, and managing Home collections that align with our brand’s vision and customer preferences. You will work closely with designers, suppliers, and the Planning team to ensure our Home offerings are on-trend, high-quality, and deliver a compelling shopping experience.

Trend Analysis and Market Research

• Conduct market research to stay updated on current fashion trends and consumer preferences.
• Analyze sales data and customer feedback to inform purchasing decisions and strategies.
• Monitor competitor activity and industry trends to identify opportunities for differentiation.

Product Selection and Assortment Planning

• Curate and select home products that align with Jaypore’s brand identity and seasonal themes.
• Develop and maintain a balanced and diverse product assortment to meet customer demands.
• Work with the design and Sourcing teams to ensure product alignment with brand standards.

Inventory Management

• Forecast demand and plan inventory levels to optimize stock availability and minimize overstock.
• Monitor inventory turnover and adjust purchasing strategies to address stock imbalances.
• Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure timely delivery and efficient inventory management.

Vendor Management

• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and ensure consistent product quality and delivery.
• Address and resolve any issues related to product quality, delivery delays, or vendor performance.
• Conduct regular reviews and assessments of supplier performance.

Collaboration and Communication

• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional strategies and campaigns for new arrivals.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams, including design, marketing, and sales, to ensure alignment on product offerings and promotional activities.
• Prepare and present reports on purchasing performance, trends, and forecasts to senior management.
