Job Description

Position Title: Area Retail Associate- Bangalore

 

Reports to: Area Retail Manager

 

Location: Bangalore

 

Please note: This role is on our third party payroll

 

Objectives

  • Directly responsible for ensuring the respective Doors consistently achieves or exceeds sales, KPIs and profitability goals through the effective use of short- and long-term planning, expense control, sales and service.
  • Responsible for recruitment, training, development and succession of high performing and results driven Associates.
  • Responsible for ensuring training programs are successfully completed by all team members.
  • Analyze customer profiles, buying trends, and competitive information to impact and drive business. Communicate and provide feedback to Area/District Manager.
  • Communicate, manage and execute all VM driven initiatives.
  • Execution of employee engagement programs across all doors managed.
  • Ensuring timely working of payroll inputs for the team members managed.
  • Execute all requirements necessary to maintain a safe and compliant working environment for all Store Associates and Customers.
  • Required to work non-traditional hours; weekends, evenings, holidays; overtime may be required
  • Ensuring regular store visits to all doors/stores managed and sharing store visit reports with Area/District Manager
  • Competition tracking Product / schemes. Counterfeit products / unfair practices to be highlighted.
  • Working on target allocation for the doors managed

  • PSFPD (Per Sq Ft Per Day)
  • Brand Ranking Ensuring market leadership in operating environment with competition
  • Brand Desirability, Store Hygiene, Store Operations
  • Training scores, Product Knowledge
  • Up scaling Existing Space allocation
  • New locations in premium Doors.

Qualification and Functional Competencies

  • Graduate with relevant retail experience (LFR experience preferred)
  • Good inter-personal relationship skills
  • Must be a brand-fit for PUMA from grooming point of view.
  • Knowledge of excel / word / power-point/emails.
  • Should have excellent communication skills, especially in English & Hindi.
  • Should be open to travel and 6 working days.
