About Us: We are a forward-thinking lab-grown diamond jewellery brand committed to sustainability, innovation, and quality. As we continue to grow, we seek a dedicated and proactive Personal Assistant to support our founder in various day-to-day tasks and strategic initiatives.
Job Overview: This is a combined role. It requires a dynamic individual with a passion for jewellery and a strong aptitude for administrative tasks. The Jewellery Merchandiser & Executive Assistant will be responsible for both merchandising jewellery products and providing administrative support to the company’s executive team. This is a full-time role that requires a highly organized individual with strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administrative Support: Assist the founder with scheduling, managing calendars, organizing meetings, and handling correspondence.
- Communication: Manage emails, draft letters, and facilitate communication between the founder and various stakeholders.
- Research: Conduct research on industry trends, potential business opportunities, and other relevant topics as directed by the founder.
- Documentation: Prepare and maintain documents, reports, and presentations.
- Task Management: Track and follow up on tasks to ensure timely completion, assisting the founder in staying organized and on schedule.
- Initiative: Take proactive steps to identify and address any needs or opportunities that arise, offering solutions to streamline operations.
- Confidentiality: Handle sensitive information with the utmost discretion and maintain a high level of confidentiality.
Jewellery Merchandiser:
- Product Selection: Curate and select a diverse range of jewellery pieces that align with the company’s brand identity and target market, using inspiration from different social media platforms, online stores, blogs, marketplaces., etc.
- Visual Merchandising: Create visually appealing displays and presentations for jewellery products in stores, online platforms, and trade shows.
- Calendar Management: Create a product line launch and execute
- Research: He/ She should be able to conduct research on on going industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging customer preferences.
Qualifications:
- Basic computing skills (e.g., Google Workspace).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interest in the jewellery industry and a passion for fashion and design
- Ability to conduct thorough research and present findings clearly.
- High level of organization and attention to detail.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative and be proactive.
- Previous experience in a similar role is a plus.
- Hours: This is a part-time position requiring 40 hours per week. Flexible working hours are available.
