Internship: New Product Development (Beauty and Personal Care)

Position: New Product Development Intern

Industry: Beauty and Personal Care

Location: Mansarovar, Jaipur (Rajasthan)

Duration: 6 months

Type: Internship

Stipend: Rs.25000 to Rs. 30000

Key Responsibilities:

1. Industry Trend Research:
*Assist in researching and staying updated on the latest beauty and personal care industry trends, including consumer preferences, new formulations, and innovative products.
*Support the team in identifying potential opportunities for new product development.

2. Product Conceptualization:
*Collaborate with the product development team to brainstorm and contribute ideas for new beauty and personal care products.
*Help research and evaluate market gaps and emerging consumer needs.

3. Vendor Sourcing & Sample Procurement:
*Assist in sourcing the best vendors within the industry for ingredients, packaging, and other materials.
*Help coordinate the procurement of samples from suppliers, ensuring quality standards are met.

4. Competitive Analysis:
*Conduct competitive research to analyze existing beauty products and identify trends in the market.
*Gather consumer insights and feedback to guide product development decisions.

5. Support in Product Development:
*Work closely with the product development team to assist in various stages of product creation, from concept to formulation.
*Help with administrative tasks such as organizing samples, managing timelines, and ensuring project progress is on track.

6. Cross-functional Collaboration:
*Communicate and collaborate with marketing, design, and R&D teams to ensure the alignment of product development with brand goals.

Qualifications:
*Currently pursuing a degree in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, Marketing, or a related field.
*Passionate about the beauty and personal care industry with a keen interest in product development.
*Strong research and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks.
*Good communication and interpersonal skills.
*Detail-oriented and eager to learn.

Preferred Qualifications:
*Prior exposure to the beauty industry through coursework, personal projects, or previous internships is a plus.
*Familiarity with trends in skincare, makeup, haircare, and personal care products.
