AGM/ DGM – Sourcing Fabric (Knits) at Gokaldas Exports in Bengaluru

Job Description

Identify and develop new knit fabric (Synthetic , Cotton and Cotton blends) sources based on seasonal trends, design briefs, and company needs.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with knit fabric suppliers both locally and globally.
Negotiate pricing, delivery timelines, and minimum order quantities (MOQs) with suppliers.
To Ensure all knit fabrics meet companys quality standards, including color fastness, shrinkage, stretch, and durability.
Manage fabric costs to stay within seasonal budgets without compromising on quality.
Work with procurement and production teams to forecast fabric needs and ensure inventory levels are aligned with production timelines.
Work closely with design teams to source or develop knit fabrics that align with design concepts and technical requirements.
